David Harrison is an independent battlefield tour guide who specialises in the Italian campaigns of the First and Second World War.  His 30 years of service in the British Army from Platoon to Corps level allow him to interpret the battles for the visitor today, whilst his NATO assignments enable him to provide insights from the other main participants (Canada, Germany, Italy, Poland and USA). He is educated at Masters level and has had Campaign book reviews published. He received his accreditation (Badge 103) from the Guild in January 2020. He lives in Edinburgh and the Le Marche region of Italy.

Mark Rusby had a successful military career in the British Army for more 30 years. His service included positions in NATO, resulting in close working relationships with international colleagues and an understanding of multi national operations. This experience, combined with service on operations in Northern Ireland, the Balkans, the Americas, Falkland Islands, Middle East and Asia enables him to bring the battles to life. He provided the organisation and logistics for Allied Rapid Reaction Corps Staff Rides and the Chief of the General Staff's Cold War Staff Ride.

Tom Bruce-Gardyne is an award-winning drinks writer who began in the late 1990s after a brief career in the wine trade, including four years in Italy working for the Sicilian producer, Corvo. Moving to Edinburgh in 1999, his writing has expanded to include anything alcoholic, particularly whisky. As well as numerous articles and a long-running drinks column in the Herald, he has written books on Scotch whisky and champagne, and has led wine tours to Tuscany and Piemonte among other regions. Despite a burgeoning drinks cupboard, his first love remainsItalian wine.
